Scone Grabbers Week
A great week for parents with young families
Maybe you desperate for some time on the boards, but have young kids and don't want to upset other people's week with your young childrens' unpredictable behaviour? Well, we've created the Scone Grabbers week just for you! This is a week for families with youngish kids - so it doesn't matter if your kids throw a wobbly - everyone else understands because they have kids too (and it might their kids tomorrow...)!
This week is designed for families with children between 0 and 7 years old, but if your kids are a bit older that doesn't matter. Mid August is an ideal time for this week - the days are getting longer and warmer. (PSST - don't tell anyone but we had 30 cm of fresh LIGHT powder snow on the Tuesday of this week in 2009). The kids have great fun socialising with each other in Palmer Lodge or playing in the snow on the Learner's slopes nearby. The parents take turns at looking after the kids while the others all go out to PLAY! Its a great week for parents to kick back, relax, socialise and ski too...
Our inaugural Scone Grabbers week was held in 2009 and was a huge success. We were booked out again in 2010 and anticipate the same this year.
