We are now close to filling most of our positions for Winter 2009.
We are still accepting applications for:
Cook/Lodge Manager
We are looking for somebody to cook in our serviced lodge and look after the following areas:
1. Ordering the weekly Lodge supplies.
2. Ordering Canteen supplies.
3. Ensuring adequate supplies of clean linen are held.
4. Organize, with assistance from other staff, hut mums and patrons, the provisioning of Lodges.
5. Ensure the set menu is followed in Broken River and Lyndon Lodges.
6. Ensure adequate quantities of food are available for evening meals and breakfasts. (well in advance)
7. Be responsible for the preparation, cooking, serving and clean up of evening meals, with the assistance of patrons, in Lyndon Lodge
8. Ensure BR hut mum understands and carries out their role. (this would be in conjunction with other staff or capable club member)
9. Ensure that all Lodges are kept in a clean state.
10. Responsible to ensure lunch food available to purchase at Palmer Lodge (day lodge on field) and on closed days in the accommodation lodges.
11. Responsible to ensure adequate cover is provided for any days off taken.
Expressions of Interest sought for Driver/General Hand
We are looking for somebody with a New Zealand Heavy Traffic licence to drive the club truck and look after the following areas:
- Collecting stores from the highway and/or from Christchurch
- Removing rubbish and recycling from the ski area
- General assistance around the field, office, and lodges as required
If you have mechanical or engineering skills/qualifications in addition to a HT licence we would be particularly keen to hear from you.
