Accommodation

Accommodation is provided in 3 centrally heated lodges with 3 distinct styles. They are located 5 minutes walk from the lift facilities. A goods lift is available to transport your gear from the carpark to the accommodation lodges.

Broken River Lodge offers ‘Club’ style accommodation with communal living and 2 large bunkrooms with around 12 guests in each room. Guests are expected to assist with cooking and cleaning duties. Accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis whereby guests bring their own lunches, sleeping bags and pillow cases.

White Star and Broken River Lodges

Lyndon Lodge is the most modern lodge and offers a ‘fully serviced’ alternative where dinners and breakfasts are prepared by our Cook. There are smaller bunkrooms and some small rooms for couples available. Linen is available on request for an additional charge ($10 per night) and as Lyndon Lodge is licensed, there is no BYO alcohol. You will need to provide your lunch or purchase it from the canteen.

White Star Chalet is our ‘Backpackers’ option, offering self-catering and self-service, communal area with kitchen-living-bunkroom all in one, separate bathroom and toilet. Guests are expected to share cleaning duties and bring your own food. There are around 14 places. Guests in White Star should bring their own food, sleeping bags and pillow cases.

For all lodges it’s necessary for you to bring your own sleeping bag, pillowcase, towel, personal toiletries and lunch/snack food and drink. Linen is available for hire by arrangement.

The canteen in the Day Lodge sells a small selection of drinks, confectionary and snack food suitable for lunches. All accommodation is provided according to the terms and conditions set by the ski area management.

Broken River Alpine Experience – Summer

Contact the mountain for details of this unique summer opportunity to enjoy and explore the Broken River alpine region during the summer months. Lyndon Lodge offers a superb opportunity to get ‘off the beaten track’ amongst the flora and fauna of the native beech forest and sub-alpine region with our resident Host providing delicious meals and service.
